David E. Robb said Goodbye, Ya Sou, Sa Wat Dee, Auf Wdersehen, Arrivederci, Au revoir & Audoise to Sharon Mailer, sisters Ruby, (Virgil) Fullerton, three former wives, Helenita Yu Robb, son, Dennis, (April) Robb, grandson Andrew, granddaughters Amanda Robb, Caroline (Russell) Robb & Mirriam Thompson, Robb, Hebeler, daughters, Robin, Tim, Chaffin & Tari, Mike, Jensen. All family relatives, nieces, nephews and cousins, his dog, friends and enemies on February 27, 2018.
David was born January 6, 1935, a graduate of McGill Grade School, 1950, White Pine High School, 1954 and Utah State University, 1973. He was preceded in death by his dad, Harold, Mike, Robb, deceased Sept. 20, 1991, mother, June Lillian Stone Robb, deceased July 28, 1999 and brother Robert Bob Robb, deceased February 9, 1993.
David was on the McGill 1950 State of Nevada Champion baseball team and a lifeguard at the McGill swimming pool. He enjoyed summers Gandy Dancing for Nevada Northern Railroad and the Bull Gang for the Kennecott Copper Cooperation, Nevada Mines Division, McGill, NV. He also enjoyed a 40 year engineering career, 10 years in Offshore Project Management Construction Engineer, Oil Well Platforms and Sub-Marine Pipelines, for the Arabian American Oil Company in Dhahran & Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia, 25 years a Flight Test Instrumentation & Special Test Equipment Engineer for The Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington, three years designing Metrology Lab Calibration Equipment for the Thiokol Chemical Corporation in Brigham City, UT, two years a silo captain construction engineer on the Titan I launching system for the American Machine & Foundry Company in Moses Lake, Washington.
David enjoyed traveling around the world 10 times, meeting people, sightseeing and photography. He also enjoyed computer processing and editing his wildlife photography, exploring ghost towns, panning gold, boating, hunting, fishing, crabbing, clamming, his Winchester, Colt & Fenwick collections.
No services will be held, David’s body is donated to science.
