Boyd Michael Graham passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2018 at age 79.
He is survived by his children Angel Graham, Warren Graham, and Rondee Graham. His sisters Audrey Graham-Behling, Darlene Graham, Charlotte Graham, and Sylvia Spotted Elk. His grandchildren Lacy Graham, Alex Graham, Eagle Herrera, Angel Greely, Ilyhia Greely, Mollee Shaw, and great-grandchild Audrina Centeno.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Graham, Ada Pressy, brother Philip Graham, and wife Lillian Graham.
Boyd worked for the Ely Shoshone Tribe as the Language Coordinator and lived his life on the Duckwater Shoshone Reservation, where he worked on his ranch raising his cattle and horses.
Boyd loved Indian crafts, going to his granddaughter’s athletic events – his was their biggest fan, and going to Powwows. Traveling was what he enjoyed the most.
A viewing is scheduled for Friday June 1, 2018 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Mountain Vista Chapel, 450 Mill Street, Ely, NV 89301.
A funeral is scheduled for Saturday June 2, 2018 12:00 pm at the Duckwater Shoshone Tribal Gymnasium, 511 Duckwater Falls Rd, Duckwater, NV 89314; after which burial services will be held at the Tribal Cemetery with a reception to follow at the gymnasium.
