September 21, 1958 to August 31, 2023
Kevin lost his brave battle with cancer on August 31, 2023 at his sister’s home in Tooele, Utah.
Kevin was born on September 21, 1958 to Wendell and Marie Knighton.
He is survived by his Mother Marie Knighton, Sister Wendy Parker (Dennis) Brothers Roger Knighton and Scott Knighton (Christopher).
Nieces Deni Archuletta (Tom), Angie Christensen (Josh), Kristine Clayton (Nic), Michelle Knighton, and Nephew Jake Knighton (Sheryll). Four Great Nieces and Three great Nephews. Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Best Friend Scott McVicers (Kayleen) and Best Friend/Cousin Steve Collard.
Kevin was born and raised in McGill, NV. He attended McGill Elementary School and White Pine High School. While living in McGill he worked as a meat cutter, in the mining industry, and was also a volunteer Fireman and EMT. He later moved to Fallon Nevada and then to Carlin Nevada working in the mining industry.
Kevin had a love for the outdoors and being in the mountains. He loved hunting and riding his mountain bike. He loved old coins, old bottles, and old western movies.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held on September 15. 2023 at 11:00 AM at the LDS church in McGill NV.
We would love everyone to share some memories of Kevin during his celebration.
Burial of his ashes will take place at a later date.
