Janet Lyn Wilson-Womack (Lani) , also known as “Mimi”, “Daughter”, “Sister” & “Auntie”, born January 6, 1966, gained her angel wings on October 17, 2023 after a 6 year long battle with breast cancer, passing away peacefully in her home in Boerne Texas surrounded by love. After graduating from White Pine High School (84), Janet became an accomplished Manicurist, Realtor and Esthetician. Her wish was to see her daughter graduate from high school and move forward in a nursing career. God has given her a front row seat. Janet was an active leader and beloved mentor of the survivors cancer group “Overcomers”, a very loving “cat mama” working in foster care while fostering many fur babies of her own along the years, and an inspiration to many with her attitude and determination to never give up. Her love and selflessness for others made her a true light, being the “warm hug” and safe place for those in her life, and her presence lit up a room and you couldn’t help but want to be near her. Her absence will be deeply felt and severely missed.

Janet is survived by her husband Kenneth (KW) Womack ; daughter Zoe Womack; parents Gerald (Jed) and Althea Lani, sisters RuthAnn Diehl (Lani) & Cecelia Lee, brother Mark Lani & partner Dave Purdy, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family and friends who’s hearts she forever holds in a special place.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Ely, NV at a later date.
