“Mel” Melvin Miller passed away peacefully on August 20, 2024.
He was born in Minnesota and lived his later years in Utah and Nevada. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking in the mountains.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; children: Lorie Basques and Steve Miller (Karen); grandchildren: Roberta and Russell Basques, Angela McLaughlin (Andy), and Katie Miller; brother, Stanley (Judy) and sister, Linda (Al).
He will be truly missed by all. His family would like to thank the amazing caregivers at Ely Hospital, St. George Regional Hospital, and Huntsman Cancer Institute.
A private celebration of life will be held in one of his favorite places – Pine Lake, Minnesota.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Huntsman Cancer Institute of Salt Lake City, Utah.
