On September 19, 2024 our beloved mother Rebecca “Becky” Kay Ogden of Ely, NV was called home after a short but brave battle with cancer.
Becky was born in Aberdeen SD July 11, 1953 to Robert and Fern Williams. Becky was the youngest of six children who all grew up on the family farm in Bath SD.
Becky was a traveler and did so with her children looking for work. She wore many hats ranging from bartending, road construction, janitorial and fabricating marble and granite. She always had some project she was working on or something she was tinkering with. Becky loved art, woodworking and crocheting.
Becky is survived by her children: Trinity (Margret) Hutcherson, and Alvera “Ali” Henk; bounus children: Robert (Anissa), Clay and Darby; her grandchildren: Aspyn, Austyn, Addi, and Riley; as well as many bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother Ted Williams; and sisters, Pat (Ron) Steckelberg, and Kathey (Tom) Rux.
Becky was preceded in death by her father and her mother; her brothers Melvin and Vincent; her bonus son Russell; and her second father figure and best friend Bob Cloud.
A celebration of life will be held October 26, 2024 at the Bristol cone convention center in Ely NV, starting at 2pm. There will be light refreshments.
We welcome all who have been touched by Becky to come share memories or stories, and to celebrate our mom, grandma. sister, and other mom.
